Leap Motion Gesture controller for Unity

Hi all!

Sorry for posting so late after publishing, but things have been hectic lately -good hectic, that is :) We have been working hard on our upcoming mobile cross-platform multiplayer game, and it is on the verge of completion. And if that wasn't enough, I've been helping out other developers with two awesome SDKs (more on this later), as well as preparing our next plugin; so not exactly lazying around, are we?

But first things first, I'm happy to announce the Unity Asset Store accepted our third submission: Easy Leap Motion Gestures and Starter Kit.

ELMG is a plugin that process the input received from the device and lets you detect a collection of gestures far beyond the predefined ones. It is as easy as start listening for gestures, and then the plugin will send you notifications whenever they happen, together with some data to make them more useful (things like position, state, and so on).

So check it out here and get a copy! And if you think we should implement a particular gesture, join the discussion.

Easy Google Play Game Service - Unity Plugin

Unity Plugin - available now!

I am very pleased to announce I have finished and polished my new Unity plugin: Easy Google Play Game Service, which will allow you to harness the power of the new Google Play Game Service API from within your Unity projects!

In its current version (v1.1) it can handle the following functionality on iOS , Android and WebPlayer projects:
    •    Sign in using Google + account
    •    Display your game leaderboards and submit scores
    •    Introduce achievements in your game
    •    Make use of Cloud Saves
    •    Real-time multiplayer (android only). No need for servers!
    •    Anti-piracy feature (only android)

More coming via updates:
    •    OS X and Windows compatibility
    •    More flexibility when positioning android toast messages
    •    Further API control –as Google API expands

The plugin comes with a full guide that will help you setting it all up on each of the platforms supported, as well as a description of the full API.

    •    You need Unity Android / iOS for mobile projects (works with basic licenses)
    •    For iOS builds, you need a Mac with XCode 4.5 or higher
    •    For android: for technical reasons the plugin overrides the main Unity Activity. Any other third party plugin that does so will not be compatible with this plugin.
    •    For iOS: the plugin makes use of PostprocessBuildPlayer. If you have any other plugin that uses this (if you have a file with that name under Assets>Editor) then you may have to merge them to keep compatibility with both assets

The plugin is available to purchase from this page :)

My second Unity plugin has been approved!

Unity Asset store has approved my second plugin: Easy Local Android Notifications.

It's an incredibly easy-to-use android plugin that brings the iOS NotificationServices functionality to your android unity apps.

Fire single messages, schedule repeating notifications... all with a single call!

Coming soon...
I'm currently working on an ambitious plugin to handle the new Google Play Games Services framework. On its first release it will allow iOS and Android developers to have full access to the entire Google Play Games services API -sign in, achievements, leaderboards, cloud saves and real-time multiplayer (android only).
